The Silk scarf by Ahmend Essop

SETTING:

Date and Time: Last days of Apartheid
Place: Oriental Plaza , Johannesburg in South Africa.

PLOT:

The story started when Mrs  Nebo went to a shopping mall. She went with her friend.
They were in a Mercedes Benz. They were  all driven by chauffeurs.
They were wearing expensive clothes showing that their husbands are rich.
When were strolling around the shops Mrs. Nebo was a lovely , Indian dress.
She decided to buy it. She again looked for  silk scarf that is matching the dress she bought .
She found it and decided to pay for it.
She scarf costs 100 rands , and she does not have enough money.
 In that shop , they do not accept cheque or credit payment  ONLY CASH.
She only have a cheque .
 Finally the shop owner , paid for Mrs . Nebo 's scarf and hand it to her , she
 was very proud of the Indian man.

Through the tunnel Task1

Question1
This story talks about Jerry an ENGLISH BOY who went on vacation with his mother . This story took place during Summer , at  as beach in France.

Question2

Jerry, the main character, is on vacation with his mother in a foreign country.  While swimming he sees some older, native boys diving from a tall cliff into the water.  They stay under water for several minutes before popping up on the other side of a large rock.  This baffles Jerry, and he seeks to follow their example.  He realizes there is a tunnel through the rock.  Without telling his mother, Jerry practices for his trip through the rock by holding his breath and sitting on the bottom of the sea.  Finally, he feels like he is ready to venture through the tunnel.  Jerry risks his life, but he successfully navigates his way through the tunnel and conquers his fear.

Jerry is an eleven-year old English boy on vacation with his mother on a beach they have frequented in the past. Jerry's mother is a widow. She is sometimes overprotective, sometimes not protective enough, of her son. Jerry attempts to make friends with some older boys on the beach. The older boys ignore him after discovering he is childish. Jerry is jealous of the older boys. He watches them as they swim through a rock in which there is a narrow underwater gap. In an attempt to become equal to them, he begins to persistently practice holding his breath so that he too may swim like them.

my first experience

When the lecturer told us about blogg creation i was very confused.
I thought its something that have to do with miscrosoft programes.
I was expecting something  like designing a card or something like that.
When i started working on it , i found out that it is something like a social network.
When working through it i found some interesting parts like filling in my personal information.
It was very interesting by jus looking on it , ever since i heard that we have to post them to our collegues .
 It was very easy and short to create my blogg, i didn`t eeven see how i finished .
All i can say is that it is very simple to create the blogg.
And it was  manageable to create this blogg.
I am looking foward to hear from my collegues.
 I really gained something from creating a blogg.
